  • What do I need to bring to my appointment?
Please bring a valid ID. If you are a minor, both you and your parent or guardian must be present, and only the parent needs to bring an ID.
  • What should I do before getting pierced?
Ensure you have eaten a nutritious meal and are well-hydrated. Make sure you do not have to swim or submerge the piercing for 30 days, and ensure you are in good health. Inform us of any medical concerns you may have.
  • What should I do after getting pierced?
Do not twist or turn your jewelry. Clean the piercing with saline solution or Dial liquid antibacterial soap twice a day. Check the jewelry daily: Ensure butterfly backs are on the loosest setting, tops of threadless pieces are securely pushed in, and threaded jewelry is tightened. Avoid sleeping on the piercing.
  • How are piercing needles different from piercing guns?
Piercing needles are designed to create a clean, precise hole, reducing trauma to the tissue and promoting better healing. Unlike piercing guns, needles are less likely to cause damage or complications.
  • What is piercing insurance?
We offer piercing insurance for $35, which includes two free repiercings with basic jewelry, 20% off additional jewelry, 10% off additional piercings, and free jewelry changes with both in-house and out-of-house jewelry.
  • Do you accept walk-ins?
Yes, we do accept walk-ins. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before closing time if you are getting pierced.
  • Do you offer packages?
Yes, we offer a variety of packages. [Click here] to view them.
  • Can I buy a gift card?

  • Can you accommodate groups or parties?

  • When can I change my jewelry?
A professional jewelry change can be done in 6-8 weeks, but high quality piercing metal must be kept in for the entire duration of your piercing healing time. Please check our piercing healing times, as different piercings require different healing times. Please stop in for a complimentary check-up to see if you are ready. However, it is essential to keep high-quality metal in the piercing 24/7 for at least a year to prevent the hole from closing up.
  • What does downsizing mean?
Downsizing is an important step that typically takes place 6-8 weeks after your initial piercing. During this appointment, we switch to a shorter post to help prevent piercing bumps, uneven healing, and the jewelry from snagging on things. Longer posts are used initially to allow for swelling. The cost for downsizing bars is $35.00. However, if you purchase your jewelry in the studio, there is no additional charge for the service.
  • What is a piercing/irritation bump and what should I do about it?
A piercing bump is a small, raised area of irritation that can occur during the healing process. We offer emu oil and no-pull discs to help manage this issue. Please stop by for additional assistance if needed.
  • Why can’t I sleep on my piercing, and what side should I get pierced on?
Sleeping on the piercing can cause it to heal crooked, leading to bumps and a slower healing process. To avoid this, sleep on your back or use a travel pillow or our specially designed piercing pillow.
  • What is a keloid?
A keloid is a type of raised scar that can form around the piercing. It is an overgrowth of scar tissue that can be managed with proper aftercare and medical advice if necessary.
  • What kind of jewelry do I have?
The metal, size, and gauge of your jewelry will be noted on the card given to you at your appointment. If you have lost the card, please call or email us for this information.
  • What is gauge and why is it important?
Gauge refers to the thickness of the jewelry. It is crucial for ensuring that the jewelry fits properly and heals correctly.
  • What jewelry should I choose if I have sensitivity?
We recommend titanium jewelry for those with sensitivity due to its hypoallergenic properties. High-quality 14k gold is also a suitable option.
  • I’m getting an MRI and need to remove my jewelry.
We offer plastic piercing retainers for this purpose. Jewelry changes are always free with the purchase of our jewelry.
  • Do you remove jewelry?
Yes, we can remove jewelry, but a fee applies if the jewelry is not purchased from our studio.
  • Do you insert jewelry?
Yes, we can insert jewelry, but a fee applies if the jewelry is not purchased from our studio.
  • What is the difference between reopening and repiercing?
Reopening involves using a threader to pass through a partially closed hole. Repiercing requires a needle to create a new piercing if the hole is completely closed.
  • I play sports but want a piercing.
It is best to schedule your piercing during the off-season, if you cannot keep jewelry in for the entire healing time. You can cover the piercing with bandages during practice and games, but the jewelry must remain in place.
  • Can I get pierced with a hoop?
Yes, you can get pierced with a hoop, provided you are diligent with aftercare. We start with a larger hoop to accommodate swelling and will downsize after 6-8 weeks.
  • Is there a limit to the number of piercings in a day?
We limit the number of piercings to three per day and offer a special package for this.
  • How long should I wait before getting another piercing?
There is no set time for waiting before getting another piercing. It is usually based on personal preference. Consider waiting until the initial piercing is fully healed or using a piercing pillow to aid healing.
  • How do I know if I have the right anatomy for the piercing I want?
You can schedule or walk-in for a consultation.
  • Is my piercing rejecting?
Signs of rejection include severe itching and redness. Please make an appointment or walk-in for assistance if you suspect rejection.
  • How long until my piercing fully heals?
